Polyurethane screen has superior wear resistance. Especially under working conditions with water, oil and other wetting media, its wear resistance is often several to several tens of times that of ordinary rubber materials. Although metal materials such as steel are very hard, they are not necessarily wear-resistant. For example, large-scale water pumps in the Yellow River irrigation area, the metal mouth ring and protective ring of the flow parts have been washed by a large amount of sediment, and it will be severely worn and leaked within a few hundred hours. .
2. Selection of Polyurethane Screen:
Polyurethane screen selection must first be selected according to the purpose of the screen, and determine whether the screen is used for classification or dehydration. The screen materials used for wet screening and dry screening are different. Polyether-type polyurethane screens should be used for water screening to prevent the screen from being shortened due to hydrolysis. For dry screening and screening of bulk materials, polyester-type polyurethane screens should be selected, which have better wear resistance and impact resistance and can effectively increase the life of the screen.
Secondly, the installation structure of the screen should be selected according to the size of the screen mesh. For large holes (aperture above 60mm is recommended), it is recommended to use a bolt-type fixed structure. Because the large-aperture screen handles relatively large materials, The impact of the screen surface is large, and the fixed form of the screen of other structural forms is easy to loosen. After the screen is loose, it will knock against the supporting beam, which will shorten the life of the screen.
